I'm Shane
I have been playing war games for a number of years spotted with breaks as life gets in the way.
I am hoping to once again get back in to it after a job and a house move.
I moved to usk about 2 years ago and struggled to maintain contact with my old club.
Thankfully after much moping my googlefu proved successful and see you guys are round the corner
And meet on Sunday's ( due to work Thursday's are a struggle but I can probably do some)
I mainly play GW games
I have Orcs and goblins for WFB but am tempted by wood elves recently
For 40k I play ultramarines and imperial guard. Tempted to start dark eldar at some point in the future.
I also have a chaos blood bowl team.

I am also open to other gaming experiences and quite curious mantics deadzone (hope that's the right name)
I also have a small Germanic celts army for clash of empires
I also like board games though don't play these sad often.
And I like the look of dead mans hand

I hope to pop along one Sunday in a week or so ( once my man flu is gone).
So do many people play fantasy or 40k? And is it best to arrange a game here or rock up on the day?
What games are popular at the moment in the club.
Thanks and hope to pop along soon

Hello and welcome.

We've got a healthy number of 40k players and a lot of us have fantasy armies but it's always best to arrange that in advance as people tend not to lug those sort of armies to club every week. I've been building a wood elf army myself since the new book but not done much yet other than buying a few bits' too many other projects.

As for games anything goes really quick last off the top of my head
Xwing / Star Trek
Wild West Exodus
Dropzone commander
All sorts of board games

Hopefully we'll see you soon.

Hi Shane,

I don't think Gareth missed anything. Always nice to see another Or and Goblin player. Even more so when they play Guard as well. Like Garth said it's best to try and arrange any game that requires a decent model count like fantasy/40k.
