Cheers
It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth.

New Dust starter boxes...and new rulebook!

Paolo Parente, the creator of Dust Tactics, has taken back control of his Dust World.

In doing so, he has made new starter boxes which include a walker, unit and an exclusive hero. Along with the miniatures is a very nice Deadzone-like game mat (soft mousepad material), mini catalogue, a few items of scatter terrain, dice, terrain tiles, unit cards and an intro new rulebook.

The rulebook is what interested me, several things have been clarified (LOS, cover, heroes etc), everything looks very positive so far. I picked up the Mercenary starter set as I have plenty of SSU. The Mercs will fight for anyone :)

A new comprehensive rulebook will be released soon.

I'll bring the box along to club Thursday/Longest Night.

Looks really good :D

I've been trying to track down Task Force "Diver" but I guess its not on general release yet

What's the new mat like, it looks good on the images I've seen. Will 2 of them cover the ready made tables at club?

I am very impressed with the mat, just like the Deadzone mat. Two will certainly cover our gaming tables, so using your two boards and the mats, should allow for more simultaneous games :)

Here's a link for a better look at the mat:

In future, Dust models will be available in 3 forms, Premium, Primed and kit:

He ships from Hong Kong where the models are produced.

I've never been caught by customs for import duty in all the years of dealing with the Far East, and I've received many parcels over time.

What are you thinking of ordering?

I might get the usmc box. How long does it take to come? I gather it's around £38 for the starter set.

Only problem is with the starter set there are no hammers in it lol. I can't see to get hold of them anymore from anywhere that's including the dust main site.
